Reality is any indication.Returns to a sound from the past, yet tweaks it enough to make it seem modern, not retro.. So, Reality doesn’t have the shock of the new, but it does offer some surprises, chief among them the inventive, assured production and memorable songs. It’s a little artier, but similar in its feel and just as satisfying. This record is  testaments to the fact that he do a satisfyingly classicist records without resulting in nostalgia or getting too… comfortable.

We weren’t born in the Mississippi Delta,
We weren’t raised in Liverpool, Berlin,
We’re not New York… no need for shame, so stop the act.
This is a Forbidden planet… Welcome.
Just imagine, there’s no rat race here, no rewards, no punishments,
This is how it sounds…

A Festival…. it’s an African invention… The Latinos patented it, the modern world embraced it and so did we, as part of the Global Village. Our “Taksirat” too confirms the schoolbook definition and we celebrate… in the name of music, something for each variety of taste in a unique diversified harmony. Taksirat is a Turkish origin word with the meaning of destiny, we roll our Taksirat  since 1999…. ever since then this festival still lives, for the spike of it, and is still immensely crucial in the construction of a “new” and better Skopje through various aspects and counterculture approaches. Even though the stage of Taksirat nowadays presents great world and regional music stars. the festival still manages to remain different from a classical commercial mainstream event and is successful at maintaining its original image by enduring the firm pillars of its beginnings, i.e. the ideals and faith in its meaning.
